Today we went to the beach again and in the evening we went on a Game Drive. It was incredibly exciting, to be out in the open bush in the pitch darkness looking for animals. The game drive lasted for 2 hours and included a picnic in the park in the utter darkness.....what fun.

Before you think that we're totally crazy and homicidal, let me assure you that there are no lions in the Hluluwe Game Reserve....just leopards, and they are very afraid of people.

We saw a leopard (actually all we saw were his glowing eyes in a tree), waterbuck and zebra.

There are also elephant and hippo in the park, but we didn't see any of them.

The kids really enjoyed the trip and I feel so blessed and fortunate to have been able to give them an experiance like this....something that they will remember for the rest of their lives.
