As any overcrowded and urbanized capital city, Bamako is not able to provide a fair insight into its country. It is therefore about time to go east and discover Mali's countryside, in particular its baobabs, hut villages, red roads and flat plateau.

Hi Sacha, I finally made it to your blog! :-) Will have to read it carefully when I am back in Germany...but so far I am in Kalabancoro (in the outskirts of Bamako) which is a really nice town. I had a very warm welcome and am currently sitting in the school's computer room.
Have a great ongoing trip, I am curious to see what I missed!:-)
