Marrakech is quite something. It is such a sophisticated place: everyone (in the new city) is dressed smartly, girls are incredibly beautiful and there are plenty of modern and fancy restaurants/bars around the place! There is a massive flow of tourists of course; but it remains that you can also see how this city (and its inhabitants) is developping into an open-minded platform where arabic and western influences are both welcome. I love it! And I recommend it. If you rather want an insight into the traditional Moroccan lifestyle, the medina will offer you precisely that : beautiful mosques and Medersas, vibrant souks and... dangerous kamikaze bikers! Go to Marrakech!
