This morning we woke up at 5 am and everyone was really tired.  We jumped in the van and drove to Chichen Itza.   It was about a three hour drive.  It was really silent and then a fight.  That was our three hour entertainment.

Since we were told to get there right at eight, that is what we did.  There were only two cars parked in the
parking lot.  The first thing that we noticed is that there was a lot fog.

Once inside the park we saw the big pyramid. It is 91 steps up.  We knew that you couldn't climb up but we still would have liked to go up.  There were dogs up on the top.  Apparently those were the owner's dog.  That's what one of the tour guides said.

Also there were pyramids that were a lot littler that looked the same.  Most of the ruins you could only go close to.  There were gaited off.  The security guards went up though.

We also went to a cave.  It was just a walking tour.  Bats were just swarming us.  We also saw this orange snake.  It really scared mom, James was the first one to see it.  We were all happy to come up
because it was getting hard to breath.
