Today is our last day of sightseeing L. We went to the south again today to a beach by Nusa Dua beach where the waves were huge and we almost drowned but it was nice and sunny which was good and Chris got a really cheap lunch for £1.75 which was a massive plate of fried rice with egg and prawn crackers. Next we went to another beach called padang padang beach which was really beautiful really calm sea as well, to get down to the beach we had to walk down about a million steps and through these caves was really pretty. After this we went onto Uluwatu temple to watch the sunset. Uluwatu is right at the bottom of Bali and is the temple on a cliff there are also alot of monkeys there which we were looking forward to seeing. When we arrived at the temple we could see lots of monkeys and some children the child was then racing after the monkey and he had stolen his sunglasses and his unopened ice lolly
. The monkey then threw the sunglasses back and unwrapped the ice lolly and started eating it! We got a good picture of Chris sitting next to the monkey. Then we saw another monkey that had stolen some glasses and was chewing them and another one that had stolen a flip flop so we made sure all our stuff was safely in my bag including my camera case as another monkey had stolen a camera case off a lady. We then climbed up to the temple to have a look at it. And decided to walk to the cliff opposite so we could get some good pictures with the temple and the sunset. When we were walking to the other cliff a big monkey grabbed hold of our water bottle that Chris was carrying and showed us his horrible fangs and tried to steel it but Chris was holding on tight so the monkey couldn't get it and it walked off in a strop, stupid monkey. We then watched the sunset which was beautiful whilst the monkeys were jumping around and one monkey had stolen a lipstick and had got it all over his feet but the funniest bit was when the monkey dropped the lipstick a man picked it up! I don’t think you would want to put that on your lips again. The sunset was absolutely amazing and we got millions of photos! After this we went to GWK cultural park to see the biggest statue in Bali and we also saw a Keris danced which was similar to the barong dance but these men started running through a fire and on hot coals that must of hurt! We then went back to Kuta and had a seafood BBQ which was really good apart from we couldn’t work out which piece if fish was supposed to be the lobster or maybe they forgot to give us some lobster we weren’t sure. After this we went back to the clubs in Legion and had lots of Strawberry Daiquiri cocktails yummy!
