I'd like to say we left Bournemouth without a hitch, except after arriving 20min early for our train, sitting chatting and eating chocolates meant we missed it! So stupid!
A nice 2hr scenic train got us back into London and within a couple minutes wondering around, we had our oyster cards (London transport cards) and were zipping through the London underground like pro's.
The Clink Hostel was nice, except the rooms were ridiculously tiny! and for eighty pounds i thought we would get much better than that!!  spent the arvo in kings cross with dinner at a small Indian place for dinner which was probably the best butter chicken ever! Due to the migrants, we figured the British are probably pretty good at making curries!

We had to be up at 6am for breakfast before the tour, so set the alarm and enjoyed our last night in a normal bed for some time. After waking, showering and bags at the front door at 6am on the dot!! we searched for the breakfast room, and were informed that it was only 4.30am... ipod was still in the Frankfurt timezone from our stopover!! Bloody timezones!!
We slept again for an hour or so and then this time brekky and boarding went without a hitch, we have a really small group of only 20 or so people so there is plenty of space on the coach!  We ferried across to France from englad via the port of Dover (White cliffs of Dover).  France is beautiful, the farms and the lands are stunning, so much like what you would expect in medieval times.  we passed many villages with their original old host castle in town, exactly like what you see on the Tour De France!
After setting up the tents outside Paris. After dinner we toured Paris on the bus, amazing architecture, and the tour gave us a perfect orientation of Paris for our free day tomorrow.  We stopped at the Basilica of Sacré-Coeur, such a stunning cathedral and it was the first time we had ever been in anything like that.  We were warned of the crafty stringmen who hang around that area, who quickly loop and braid string on to your finger and then charge you to have it cut off! such a scam!!
Back at camp we realised we have no torch and only one towel! Rookie mistake! we will have to get that sorted asap!
We hope you are all well and having fun, we wish you were all with us over here. Time to get back into the fray, let the touring begin!
