Today we left Athens and I couldn't be happier. Took a bus to Olympia, and without the help of a little old man we wouldn't have found the bus. The ride was long, almost 6 1/2 hours, but we arrived well. Olympia is beautiful. The ruins were the best that I have seen thus far. They were expansive, and the museum was gorgeous. The signs were very clear about what everything was, and the ruins lacked the tourists that the others had. Had a race in the first Olympic Stadium. Walked around the town for the day. It was very pretty. All in all a very pretty town. Very relaxing. Had a good piece of lamb for dinner. The staff was super friendly. Settled in a quaint little hostel with a very traditional old lady. She tried to separate us, but then decided we could stay together. It's very nice here. I like it.
