Today we visited some of the chateaus in the area, chateau Chambord and Chateau Chiverny. I think that we made the right combination of chateaus to visit because they were both very different. Chambord had wonderful architecture and gardens, but the insides were not very impressive because most of the furnishing was not there. Chiverny, on the other hand, had some of the most amazing and details furnishing I have ever seen. I dont know if I could have handled any more than 2 chateaus, but I was able to appreciate the two that I did see.
That night we just walked around town and watched some soccer at one of the outdoor cafes that had set up a projector and screen outside.

Monday
It looks like you are meandering toward madrid. Sould be there in a couple of days, HUH.
They must serve only wine in France. I have not heard a word about any GOOD beer for the past week. Must be awful.
I would not go into elaborate detail on the decor and furniture design in the chateau's while traveling with another fellow. Some folks might jump to a wrong conclusion.
When I told harold how much international play his 'Merchant's' shirt was getting he said he would get me another one. What size should we get?
The weather is STARTING to get a little better here. We can only pray lasts for more than a week.
Jim Evans comes in on Thursday night and we will play on Friday and Saturday. I'll see what kind of game I have NOW.
I have cleaned up your clubs and will again after we play so they will be ready to go when (if) you come back. We should have SOME good weather when you get home. I want to get you out right away while you are hot.
Love you, miss you and think of you every day.
