Yesterday ended up being very interesting. Becuase we knew that the USA had its first world cup game, we knew that it would be an early start to the day drinking wise. Its amazing how big soccer is over here. They just dont understand and are blown away how we dont know each players name and weight. When the say fuseball, I asked him if he was talking about the table game with the players connected to spinning rods and we got a kick out of that, Eric wouldnt stop laughing. We saw the Giraffe and we had to get it. If you look in the pictures, it a dispenser that is filled with beer and was quite impressive, I had a good time at least. As far as the soccer game, we got the absolute shit kicked out of us by the Czech team.

This morning we got up early because a damn fire alarm was going off at 7 in the morning, but it was ok because it was beautiful outside and we figured an early start wouldnt be so bad. The weather is unbelievable here, I have literally not seen a single cloud in 4 days. I love it. I might be tan for the first time in my life by the end of this trip, so I might grow out a mustache so I can fit in with the Spanish. Jk, that would be sick.

We found an awesome market on our way to the internet cafe. I love markets. Everything is so unbelievably fresh, the food is almost too beautiful to eat. And it was on a Tuesday morning that we found this market, no market would stand a chance on a Tuesday in the states. And whoever says the French are not nice to Americans are totally wrong. Maybe if youre a stupid American, but we had people giving us stuff for free and not letting us pay. The best part was we found this old woman that started following us around from stall to stall translating and helping us find out groceries for the day. It turns out that she had travelled around the US 50 years ago and the American people had treated her so nicely that she wanted to return the favor. We saw her again riding her bike about a half hour later and she insisted that we take hand fulls of cherries out of a bag on the back of her bike. So far its been a great morning. We are now headed to the park to fix ourselves some sandwiches and hopefully play some frisbee if we can find a field. I miss you and will write again soon. Love, Ryan.

Last minute entry. I just remembered this. Last night when we were walking back up the hill, eric bet me that I couldnt catch him. He thinks because I am so much bigger than he is that their is no way that I am faster than he is. Oh, not so my friend, not so. he was about 15 feet in from of me when he said I couldnt catch him, within seconds I was right behind him and instead of letting me catch him and thus swallowing a little pride, the little shit takes an immediate right into car and flops down into the road. Looks like I win again. But dont worry, it was completely safe and well supervised by myself. lATE.

Hey Ry
Sounds like you're having a blast! Nice weather! It's been raining here but today was okay, mid June and still rain.
Blake and I are having a big bbq for her bday on the 24th so we've been planning that. Acacia is gonna waitress, Doug's going to bbq, and I might be able to get mom to bartend for a little while. It should be fun, wish you could come.
Good stories! Take care and love ya

Tuesday -Late
Looks like you are back on track. Pictures are great. The one titled Sausage Fest looked like many different kinds of bread. If not it was the biggest sausage I've ever seen.
It is kind of neet that you run into new found buddies that you can have fun with.
Soccer results were a bummer. Everything here going well ans normal. Shannon went back to work today without any problems. She may be sore tomorrow.
Riley misses you too,
love
d
