First off I just wanted to say that we are not drinking as much as it may seem or appear. Many of my photos are of me drinking but that is because I am not posting the pictures of us in bed at 10pm as we do most nights. So please, dont worry.

Well here we are in wonderful Lugano. I love this place. It has a real Italian feel but is still surrounded by the Apls and is in Switzerland. This place is exactly what I would picture a small Italian town being. Walking to the Internet cafe, we walked to countless outdoor bakeries, butchers and seafood shops. I am really loving this trip so far. Each town that we visit, we are able to stay for as long as we like and usually after a day or two, we are able to get the general feel for a place and are ready and excited to move on and see what else Europe has to offer us. Its so incredible because out of every city we have seen, we can only think of one that has been somewhat of a disappointment and that was because we were there on a Sunday and everything was closed. Every city is at least a little different, if not very different and that is what creates the constant excitement to move on. The past couple of days I have felt such a good feeling of accomplishment that I am even on this trip and that it is actually going as planned. I have worked so hard for this for so long (but it never would have happened if it werent for my mother and Doug, thank you and I love you for all of your help and support) and now it is happening and its so much better than I could have ever expected. Another funny thing is that because after Oktoberfest in Munich, we have about 10 days before we need to get back to London to fly out and we were planning on going back to a few places that we had visited up until that point, but right now, I have interest in revisiting almost every town we have seen so far, so that is going to be a very difficult decision. I really appreciate the time and effort of those of you who write to me. Its great to hear of news from home and to hear that things are going well. KEEP THE MESSAGES COMING PLEASE.

Yestderday I got a a hair cut from a guy that seriouslz didnt know a single English word. I was scared to say the least, but I didnt see any other option. The funny thing is, it actually turned out really well, I was quite surprised.

Lugano
Ryan,

Your scenic pictures are great. You can't go wrong with a barber who has a picture of Madonna with Child on his wall.

I am going to give harold Pyatte a picture of you with his Everett Merchants tee shirt in Switzerland. His team is world wide. He will get a big kick out of that.

KEEP ON FROLICING

LOVE YA AND MISS YA,
d

Missing in Action
Have not heard (or seen) from you on the internet for a couple of days. Thought mabe you quit having fun or you quit going to be at 10 PM.
We had a great couple of day at you grandmothers. The weather was not great but better that here. We have RAIN scheduled through Sunday this week.
I am going to Camaloch (Camano) on Wednesday to hit balls with Lisa (my secretary at the FD)

Jim Evans is coming up from AZ on the 23rd and 24th and we will play both days. Is it OK if he uses your clubs? That way he will not have to pack his up here.

Big AL and I will be going out chipping and putting a couple of times a week until he can start swinging the long clubs.

Keep those messages and pictures coming.

Love Ya,
d
