Where I stayed
Our last day in Greece we drove from Loutraki to Patra to catch the overnight ferry to Italy. On our way to Patra we drove through Korinthos and saw the Corinth Canal. We also stopped and played in a park right in front of Ancient Corinth - so we got to see some ruins while the boys played. The ferry to Italy was very nice - not quite so posh as the ferry from Rhodes to Athens - but still very nice and very expensive! We had a larger cabin this time with 4 beds and a window since they were sold out of inside cabins - but I still ended up with both boys in my bunk :). It took around 16 hours to get from Patra, Greece to Bari, Italy. When we got to Italy the security at the port checked every car for Albanians trying to sneak in from Greece, and Ryan got in trouble for taking a picture of the ferry.
