Daniels friend Russels Pad
Well today was a day of ups and downs. It really is crazy how much of an emotional rollercoaster it is to move away from everything you know. I thought I would be ok, but it was harder than I imagined. After all the goodbyes, Daniel and I set out on our first leg of our trip. It wasn't very long seeing as we only made it to Nashville, but it was good because neither one of us have gotten enough sleep the past week or so and didn't feel up to driving anymore. I was a little nervous when we first started out that my car wouldn't do too well on the interstate being so weighted down with all my crap and with bikes on top, but it handled it perfectly. When we finally arrived at Daniels friends house, we went to eat some dinner at the local sports bar Johnathons and had a good time talking. We initially planned on going out to downtown later in the night, but we were already tired. Not a good sign after the first day of driving only about 3 hours. ha
