We spent a few more days back in Krabi, and one of the days, we booked a snorkeling trip to some nearby islands. The snorkeling trip was so much fun and we had a great time. We saw many beautiful fish and coral reefs. We went to four different places, and the last place was the best. It is called Railay beach, and Ryan had been there last time he was in Thailand. It's a beautiful beach surrounded by huge limestone karsts, dramatically dropping straight down into the turquoise water. The defining feature of the beach is a large limestone karst in the middle of the bay.

At one end of the beach, there is a small trail leading to some caves. If you climb up through the caves, you come to a viewpoint high up a cliff overlooking a secluded and totally amazing beach. We had forgotten to bring a flashlight, bit decided it was worth it to go anyways. A Finnish couple wanted to go to the caves too, so we all went together. It was very difficult to find our way around the caves without a flashlight, all we had was our camera flashes. There are several large and rickety bamboo ladders you have to climb up by feeling around. We finally made it to the viewpoint, covered in sweat and totally dirty, but the view was amazing. After taking some shots and catching our breath, we has to head back down to the boat.

The rest of our time in Krabi, we spent sleeping until noon, updating our travel blog, and eating cheap and delicious food.
