First off, we apologize for the lack of an update to the
regular blog yesterday. Here at Yogi, we are only allotted a half-hour of
internet time, and the connection is a bit shaky, so we did not have time to
update more than Sarah and Morgan’s Advice for the day. We also cannot upload
pictures because the connection is not strong enough, so it takes an
inexplicable amount of time to upload even one. So for today, we’ll update you
on our adventures from yesterday and up to around 5 o’clock today.

We left Plymouth and entered Green Bay, despite our hatred
for the Packers. We visited Lambeau Field in Green Bay, WI and took an hour
long tour of the field. At minute 46, while standing on
Lambeau field, 97% natural, 3% artificial turf, we burst out in song… “BEAR
DOWN! CHICAGO BEARS! MAKE EVERY PLAY CLEAR THE WAY TO VICTORY. BEAR DOWN,
CHICAGO BEARS, PUT UP A FIGHT WITH THE MIGHT SO FEARLESSLY. WE’LL NEVER FORGET
THE WAY YOU THRILLED THE NATION, WITH YOUR T-FORMATION. BEAR DOWN, CHICAGO
BEARS, AND LET THEM KNOW WHY YOU’RE WEARING THE CROWN. YOU’RE THE PRIDE AND JOY
OF ILLINOIS, CHICAGO BEARS, BEAR DOWN!”

We left Lambeau and made our way to the very first
Jellystone Campground ever built, with, by the way, the hardest miniature golf
course in America, maybe even the world. While attempting to
upload to the blog, we discovered a storm would be rolling through. We hurried
back to our campsite, although the adults ignored the warnings of their
children and continued with their festivities, dooming themselves to the
inevitable rain. The younger crowd retreated to the DeGeeter RV to watch
movies, which sadly never happened due to technical difficulties.
Unfortunately, while holed up in the RV with the storm raging outside, Sarah desperately
needed to go “take a potty”. However, the toilet in the RV had recently been
occupied (names withheld to protect the dignity of the accused), and clogged.
Morgan was on Poop Patrol for the day, and was forced to run with Sarah through
the frightening thunder and lightening and torrential downpour to the nearest
bathroom. Don’t worry though, they made it back safe, sound, and a little wet.

Today, we woke up to the smell of Uncle Chrissy’s, (Chris
Birck) famous  egg sandwiches.

AND NOW, LADIES AND GENTLEMEN, THE MOMENT YOU HAVE ALL BEEN
WAITING FOR: the first poop has officially been drained from the RV. Soon after
breakfast, the Birck parents received a panicked call from Mackenzie Birck: the
water would not drain from the sink. Christine Birck was manning “the Unit”
(the RV) and Christopher was manning the other end of the hose at the sewer
hole.  Christine Birck posed a
question to Christopher and Christopher left his post to see what was the
problem. Christine pulled the lever and sh*t started to flow freely and with no
one making sure the sh*t was going into the hole. Christopher quickly ran to
the sewer hole but not before some of the poopy had spilled out. Christohper exclaimed,
“OH SH*T!”

Having successfully drained the poopage from the Bick RV,
Christine had the lovely idea of tackling the DeGeeter poop situation. Here is
where the real trouble began,  the
DeGeeter hose did not fit to the sewer hole. We had the great idea of combining
the two hoses where Christopher held the two hoses together.(If you watch the
clip from the second blog we wrote you can see this exact event in the clip)
Christine manned “The Unit,” and they recruited Beth DeGeeter to man the hole.
The three of them were ready to tackle the Big Job.  Christine pulls the lever of the sh*t tank, and the force of
the sh*t blew out of the Birck hose; Christine dove back in to shut the lever.
We tried a second time but the poop was too great and they had to lift the hose
above their heads to make the sh*t flow down hill. This was a successful
dumpage.

I told you we would have good stories.

The rest of the day went on uneventful until the miniature
golf game. The Chris’s, Mike, Beth, Greg, Sarah, and CJ all decided to go mini
golfing. Little did we know it would be the best game of miniature golf anyone
had ever played.  Sarah DeGeeter
went out of bounds so many times it makes me question if she really is a
championship golfer. Greg DeGeeter was ahead after the front nine, he fell
apart on the back nine and the winner was Christine Birck with a 59.

Now we are all getting ready for some dinner, ribs and corn!
We will update tomorrow when we get to good internet service, with pictures and
stories galore.

Thanks!

Aunt Sun on

Finally a great up date!

Lowrey on

I keep tuning in as if I am watching the Truman show. Great pictures from day one. How are the pastries at Mars? Yesterday I was left empty, yearning for more and going to sleep disappointed. Thank God for today's updates. As for the Sh*t story I feel like I was there. As a matter of fact, I feel like I am there right now. I gotta go!

Sorry about that, apparently your last entry put me in the mood. Christine, congratulations on your 59. I am curious as to where CJ's name and get up on the leaderboard. Keep the updates coming.
