All night last night the rain was bucketing down and it only stopped in the morning. The rest of the day was warm and sunny.
Today we woke up just before 8am and left around 10am.
Since we want to see as much as we can - we set out south for a town called Senj. It is about 40km of picturesque coast line road to the town. We stopped a few times on the way there to take some photos. The views were great (see photos).
When we arrived to Senj, we went straight to the central beach. The beach was not as good as on Krk Island as it was a rocky beach (as most of them are here). But, the water was sooooo clear and here we saw fish in abundance. I reckon it would be a great diving spot.
While in town, we were lucky enough to come across unsecured wireless internet access and we managed to put yesterday's blog from Krk Island online. I thought that was pretty cool.
In the afternoon we did more swimming and bludging and around 5pm we left as the rain was approaching - AGAIN! I think we got lucky with the weather once again.
Tomorrow the plan is to visit the following cities: Rijeka, Opatija and Pula (Denisa this is a city name :-) ). They are all towards the north of where we are staying.
Let's hope the weather will hold out for us for another few days. ;-)
