Where I stayed
Today was an early start to the day. We woke up around 6am in order to get ready and then walk to the bus station to catch a bus to Woodbury Factory Outlet Centre here in New York.
We got the the bus station thinking we are early (we arrived at 6:50am fro a 7:15 departure). There were enough people before us to fill a whole bus up. Luckily for us - a number of buses were leaving ensuring we had our spots.
Because no other sane people were on the road this early we got to our destination earlier than anticipated - around 8am. I had to be mentally prepared for this as there are something like 220 shops here.
Anyway - all went well (I was surviving) up until lunch time. Mattias fell asleep then too - at least I am teaching him well - to dislike shopping and that shopping is boring. :-)
While we were having lunch the snow started falling! Yay! All the freezing weather was not in vain - we saw snow! The only problem was that I overheard a few local saying over the phone that they are leaving home and something about the fear of being stuck in snow... I thought to myself if they are worried maybe we should be too.
Luckily for all of us, Roxy agreed and we went back to the bus station to catch the next bus to our hotel room. The roads were already having a layer of snow and the traffic started slowing down fast.
I reckon if we would have stayed longer, we might have gotten stuck.
Once we got back we dropped off the purchases in our room and went to buy myself a new shaver. Roxy is never happy with my shaves and I keep on blaming the shaver. Now I had no more exuses - I got the shave and to my relief the new shaver results in a much closer shave. I am a very happy customer right now.
Final stop for the day was at Macy's - what a full and utter chaos. This department store is massive (the largest Macy's in the world) but the amount of people in there is just plain ridiculous. We waited for about 30 minutes for our turn at the cashier. There was also a line up at Men's toilets - it was unbelievable. Apparently it's what we call Boxing Day sales in Australia.
After having some dinner we finally went to our hotel room for some much needed rest.
Just for the record, on the way to the hotel, outside were blizzard like conditions, with snow and huge winds. I wander what this will bring - considering we are planning to leave back to Australia tomorrow??? Another few days in New York wouldn't be too bad. ;-)
PS. Sorry no photos for today. I had no capacity to carry my camera with me due to being my wife's personal caddy. :D
PS 1. Because my hubby helped with all the shopping bags I took some photos with my phone.

I am glad that you like shopping Vlad. You keep him going Roxy. That way you will do my share Vlad and I won't have to shop with Sharyn. If I had know you were shopping at Macy's I could have told you how to get a further discount Very glad you have had a great time
Hi Rob, thanks for the commiseration... :-) You are assuming Roxy doesn't know how to get the extra 10% discount. My woman is hard to beat mate.
Vlad
