Ok friends - it took me a while to get of my bum to do this last entry - but here it is. :-)
Today we arrived at our final resort, Radisson Fiji.  After a short ride by bus from port Denarau, we arrived at our resort.
I have to be honest and say that I have never stayed at such a nice resort in my life.  We book the place about 6 months in advance and we had an upgrade deal where we would have the ocean views from our room and we had the breakfast included.
We really enjoyed it - and I can tell you that I could get used to it. :-)
There were numerous swimming pools in the resort: general pool - with a pool bar, adult only pool, children pool with a water slide (it didn't stop me using the slide) and little kiddies pool.
For those that wanted there were all sorts of water sports available like jet skis, parasailing, water skiing, luxury cruises, etc.
The rooms were very nice and the bed so big that even I got lost in it!  (we have a king size bed at home)
The service was awesome too - with resort staff on every corner willing to help and greeting you every time by saying "BULA".
We witnessed the "torch lightning ceremony" where Fijians dressed in traditional Fijian dress would beat the "drum" and others would run with the torch and light all the torches located all over the resort.
We also sat on a coconut peeling demonstration which was very interesting.
One afternoon we went to Port Denarau area where they opened a new shopping centre to look around.  There were a number of clothing shops a few restaurants, souvenir shops and supermarket.
That night we went to a nearby Westin Resort where we watched traditional Fijian dances and finally we watched a number of Fijians walking over hot rock.  That was some experience!
But most important of all event that happened this week was that on Monday, 24 March 2008 was our 3rd wedding anniversary!  We went out to dinner at the resort restaurant where we had a quiet night and reflected on how blessed we are and how miraculously we ended up together.  It doesn't seem like 3 years - but when you are happy and enjoy each others company - the time flies.  That was a very special day...
As a wedding present I organised for Roxy  and myself to have a massage at the Harmony Retreat within the resort.
On Friday we flew back to Brisbane where we spent one more weekend with our familiy and on Sunday morning we flew back to Canberra where there were "pleasant" 12 degrees celsius!!!
