Ok friends this is it - we finally arrived in Fiji...
We flew with Air Pacific (Fijian Airline) and when we got at Brisbane Airport to check in there was a massive line even beyond the dedicated isles.  The reason for this was that the plane was almost full but there were only 3 or 4 counters operating.  It took about 45 mintues before enforcements from Qantas staff arrived.  After about one and a half hours we finally checked in.  It was all cool as we allowed plenty of time.
The flight was pretty good with some turbulence.  The plane had no entertainment system except one screen for each section of the plane. But I have to admit that the staff on the plane were very friendly.  Despite the bad reviews on Air Pacific food - I have to say that the food was pretty good.
We arrived to Nadi International Airport at around 17:00.  As we got out of the plane the wave of the warm temperature put smiles on our faces.  We had a free transfer to our hotel - Tanoa International Hotel.  As we were arriving there we were surprised how nice the hotel was - we thaught we paid a relatively low price and didn't expect much.  The room was great and the hotel had a nice swimming pool and an awesome food place.
The only thing that was annoying was the amount of mosquitos (for some reason Roxy was loved by mosquitos but they wouldn't touch me :-)).
We went to bed relatively early to get a god nights rest as tomorrow we leave for the Yasawa Islands.
The sleep was great except that some loud noise woke us up - after Roxy woke me up we established that it was the rain - really heavy rain... what kind of weather will we have on our holiday...  The cyclone season doesn't really end until April!!!
