Hershey Thousand Trails

We left Jefferson,Ohio on June 28,2009 at approx. 7:30 am and drove about 337 miles to Hershey,Pa.. There were two areas of Pa. after we got off Interstate 80 that were tricky because of the steep downgrade hills. Jimmy and Sandy were following us, we gassed up twice and the price of gas was $ 2.49 a gal. in Ohio and it was $ 2.53 in Pa..

We arrived at Hershey around 3:00 pm and boy was it crowded. After I unloaded the car Kathy and I drove around to find a site. We found site B-11 so we left the car parked at the site so that nobody would take it from us. Then Kathy drove the Rv to the site, she had to make 4 left turns and then she backed it up. She is doing a GREAT  job.( Kathy is now our official backer upper) I hope she still needs me.lol

Kathy left for New York at 7:00 am with Rv Seven, I miss them both already. She is going to get all of our stuff taken care of, see her family and then HURRY back to her Best Man. ( The Rv Dude ) lol  Jimmy and I went to the Camping World store near Harrisburg,Pa. yesterday and boy were we disappointed. It was the worst camping supply store I have ever been in, Walmart has more Rv stuff.

I got the package that my brother Ricky sent to me. It was a new hat with all of the names of the Thousand Trails parks I have been to. I posted a picture of the hat in this blog. Jimmy and Sandy invited me up to there Rv after I did my evening walk and they bought me jelly donuts from Dunkin Donuts. While we eating them a bird pooped on Jimmy. You guessed it Sandy and I laughed but for some reason Jimmy did not laugh. lol

We will be here at Hershey until July 7,2009 then we will meet up with Ursula, Randy, Cathy & John at Chestnut Lake in N. J.. We have not seen them since May. I hope they have not aged to much.lol  I hope that there is a pickleball court in Chestnut Lake so I can kick some butt.

Your Rv Friends,

Rv Dude, Rv Diva & Rv Seven

RVDude, I read your comments about the poor selection of product you experienced when you went to the Camping World store near Harrisburg. I wanted you to know that this is just a dealership and is not one of the Camping World stores. If you have been in many of the Camping World stores you know that we carry a very broad selection of products. Much more than you would find in a Walmart. I just wanted to clear that up so you did not think this store was representative of all our stores. Thanks and have great travels. Rick Matar
