We are getting much better at this travel in China and have arranged for a driver to pick us up from the airport and take us to our hotel. Xi'an is a lovely smaller Chinese city with more westerners than we have seen in one place yet. That is because of the Terra Cotta Warriors. The pictures don't do them justice. There are thousands of them. Some have been left in pieces to maintain the integrity of the site but at least 2000 have been reswtored. And to think, if this 80 year old man who still lives here hadn't been out digging for a new well , they would never have been discovered. We took a few side trips here which you will see.
