Up before the sun I went down to the pool deck and sat and watch the night turn into day. It is such a quiet time of day. No one is moving yet and the earth seems to still be sleeping. I drank my tea and contemplated what my next move would be in my life. I am so project driven that the end of one looks great but what will I do next? So many choices, so little time.
I know I want to continue my meditation practice and yoga. I have committed to taking my vitamins and building my immune system. April and I are going to support each other in these decisions.
April and I get up and meditate one more time in the dark quiet hut and savor the sounds of the sea and birds waking up. Our last yoga class facing the beach and a whale comes the closest yet. Somehow saying good bye. It is such an honor to watch this great beast as we do our practice. He hangs out throughout the hour.
Breakfast with Kaj and Christina. Christina said they would be pulling long faces at dinner as we won't be there. It has been special meeting them and I know we will meet again. These are relationships I want to continue.
After breakfast April and I sunbathe for the last time and talk about our future and our decisions. I videoed the sounds of the ocean on my phone so I could take it with me and remember the bliss.
Pablo is there and we are off to the airport. PV airport is calm and easy. We go for Carl's fries and feel like rebels. They packed us a veggie lunch for the plane but somehow gotta have those fries.
Phoenix is a zoo, I really lose my cool when it looks like I will miss my connection. I ran for the plane and felt I was going to expire. I made it and all was well. Home early in Oakland and the welcoming arms of my sweet Marty. Bliss was firmly returned to me during the predawn as Marty and I hug for hours in our warm cozy bed.
