It is rainy season and umbrellas are part of the everyday wardrobe. You can leave them in an assigned slot. Some stores have plastic bag stands in their entry way. You bag your umbrella so that it does not drip on the floor. CLEVER!!

The Japanese women have beautiful skin. They walk around with gloves covering their arms and hands, wear hats and carry the most amazing umbrellas.

When I think of a downtown area....I think about New York and Chicago and the noise of the honking horns. I can count the number of times that I have heard horns honk. The taxi drivers are very polite and patient.

Speaking of taxis, the drives wear white gloves and are dressed in suits. They have lace doilies on the head rest of the seats. The car door open automatically...

There is a loud speaker on the emergency vehicles. After going through an intersection the only thing that I can understand them saying is, "Thank you."
