What a way to spend Father's Day...in Tokyo and at the ABC Cooking School.

Our instructor, Meiri, is from Indonesia. She and her husband came to Japan to go to college and are still here (10 years now.) We had a classmate, Saki. She came to this class for the English. She has taken courses at ABC previously...now wanted to take a class to practice her English.

We made a delicious, traditional, Japanese family meal...Nikujaga Gozen (beef and potatoes), Miso Soup with Spinach and Abura-age, Bonito (smoked tuna) flakes Furikake, Kabu (turnip) with amazu marinate and Rice

MMMMM...GOOD!!!
