Where I stayed
Bureau Shinagawa
These are just some observations that I have made. Observations only...not judgments or critiques....just things I have made mental notes of....
The Japanese men and women "scurry." Short, little, quick steps...almost like a want-to-be run...but more fluid.
Sitting at the base of the Sony Building this morning, I noticed that all of the men look alike...dark suits, polished shoes, hand-held or over-the shoulder brief cases...No backpacks.
The young school children all wear brightly colored hats with the elastic chin straps.
There is no walking around with disposable coffee cups, water bottles or fast food.
**********************************************************************************************
At breakfast this morning, one of the choices was potatoes and cabbage!!! Mark and I chose the cold cereal.
Tōkyō kara no shukufuku*

Potatoes and cabbage for breakfast. hmmm... with wasabi and a little teriyaki sauce I guess that would be close to huevos rancheros.
;^)
