Arriving at 07:45 on a Saturday morning in New York, rubbing my eyes from the nightly bus-ride from Washington. It felt vaguely familiar being here. I think Hollywood has a big hand in the matter.. the alleys, metal fire escapes, very tall buildings, different districts. It actually feels like you´re in a buzzing movie.

I stayed at my (step)cousin Andrew´s place, who was staying in the ´Greenwhich Village´ district. I surfed his couch for a few days and got to hang out with some his friends, one of the party highlights was a bachelorette party where I ended up dancing salsa with the bride-to-be. I believe they finished about 5 botteles of Grey Goose (vodka) and I got a compliment that I never had before: ¨I love your facial bone structure!¨. LOL. I think I couldn´t stop laughing for at least 15 minutes, but then again, that might have been the vodka ;)

Next to that I visited the more tourist stuff, Guggenheim, Metropolitan, Central Park.. Impressive stuff! I´m sure I´ll be back here some day (ruling out next week to catch my flight to Austin ;)
