Skiing with smoochipoochi!

As I walked into this house in the middle of nowhere (Granby qualifies for this title) - I saw the door to a bedroom open. It took me about 1.5 seconds before I realized, but it was actually him! I visited Jan in the Czech Republic in the first days of my travels, but here we were again! He was doing an internship as a ski instructor down in Winter Park, Colorado and I looked him up for the last few days of the season.

He had arranged everything for me, a bed, ski pass, skis, ski boots, ski poles, ski suit, gloves, hat, sunglasses.. The ski pass alone is $70 a day, so I can't express how happy I was to spend the $100 saved a day on drinks in stead! ;-)

I was so happy to see Jan again, he's one of my best friends. It's amazing to see how everybody gets along with him over there. It seemed like he knew EVERYONE, from redneck to alto and young to old. I'm proud of you man :)
