About three weeks before I left for the second part of my trip, I was leaning over my computer to reset it. There is a world-globe on top of it and when I turned my head I suddenly found my nose about two inches above Montreal. It was a very clear moment, didn't have to focus my eyes or anything, but instantaneously I thought I had to go there. Sketipical as I am to signs, I said out loud... 'well, if that is supposed to be a sign - i'll have to get another one'. That day I left for the airport to going skiing in Switzerland and when I was sitting at the gate before leaving on my flight I heard the announcement... 'the flight to Montreal is now boarding on gate...' - right then I knew I had to go..

After overstaying Toronto a little (two weeks is a lot ;-) - I found it was time to go. I was planning to leave on a Saturday-afternoon, but... Lynette managed to lock us out of her room by shutting the door and leaving the key inside... The universe was merely trying to keep me there for a day longer.. ;-) The day after I managed to find the 'magic bus' to Montreal, which managed to be full.. after waiting around a bit longer - I was offered the 'shitty seat' in front, which I gladly took. I ended up talking to the Russian woman next to me, who was going to a Tarot reading to tell her if the man she was seeing was the right one to have babies with.. ha! I'll never found out what the result was... but anyway...

I got to Montreal, took the metro and finally found the hostel I booked online. I looked through the locked door's window and saw a girl sitting there. She opened the door and immediately I felt connected to her. As she was checking me in, her computer crashed and I jumped in to help. While rebooting we got to talk and somehow... 5 hours later we were still talking. Within 2 hours I already knew she was the reason I had to go to Montreal, which I told her. At one point I was talking about a book I am reading (Conversations with God from Neale Donald Walsch) and she mentioned she had heard of it, but had never read it - 5 minutes later I had to go to the restroom and when I exited- i found me confronting a chair in the hallway with right in the middle on top.. a French copy of the first book of the conversations with god series. I brought it back to the reception and gave it to her, with a smile and if it was every day business she said.. "that one is for me then".

At 4:30am I finally hit the sack. The next two days Sabrina showed me around in the center, went for drinks, bowling, I met her father, we talked, laughed and said our goodbyes when the time came. Maybe we'll see eachother again, maybe not. But I'll follow every sign I'm getting from now on.. :)
