I just had my first job interview this morning, which went really well! I think i'll get the job! tomorrow i'll have to name my price... I'm sitting at the company right now (Propeller: http://www.propeller.ae is where i'll be working on probably) and outside are big ass skyscrapers and desert in the distance. Can't wait to explore this city later on :)

But what a contrast so far... travelling seeing everything, everything cheap... and suddenly i LIVE in this super expensive town and hopefully have this kick ass job already! hahaha!

[editted 2 days later]

Walking around in the Dubai Internet City, where Propeller is located, it's just so amazing to see how much time is being spent creating this city. Every inch of grass is trimmed perfectly, the water is being cleaned almost every day and most areas are just totally spotless. I decided to take a bus back, which nobody recommended, but it dropped me at the 'bourge l'arab', from which I found my way home after a while... it's a maze! The city is so new that the cab drivers don't know the names of the streets, because 4 years ago the whole area didn't exist and they haven't started naming the streets until recently.

Back home I met my neighbours Abigail and Heath, who took me to the Mall of the Emirates to do my shopping and get my SIM card for my mobile phone. I spend $120 in 1.5 hours for just that... I really hope I get that job! or else i have a problem :)

Back in my villa with pool... okay okay... lets get things straight. I don't actually live in the villa, I live in a tiny room in the 'shed' next to it and there is no water in the pool yet ;) - So yea, back in my villa with pool I 'cooked' some noodles. A glamorous first dinner! :D I made it go down with some rum and coke... I feel I officially live here now! Let's see what Dubai has got to offer! :)
