As i had waved Christine goodbye at 5:00 in the morning, I slept through most of the bus trip to Prague. In between I talked to Nelleke, who was studying in Prague for a while already. In Prague it turned out I had to change busses, well actually, it seemed more like a downgrade from good ol' big Eurolines bus to narrow lil' Eurolines mini-bus. But no complaints...

There was 1 girl going the same direction, so we started talking. Which didn't end all the way to Brno. Now... I needed to get to Ostrava, but didn't have a clue how. Without Jana, I probably still would have been standing at Brno bus station right now. She told me to take the train, we got the ticket and right as we got to the train track. It took off and the board still showing 'Ostrava' now started changing teasingly slow... butttt, no problem! She said: well, guess this is a good time for your first czech beer then, which I had been indicating I wanted to drink quite a bit before. Sounded like a plan to me!

Today, I still I don't know how. But as we got back to the train station, we managed to again see the train take off... and again the Ostrava sign was to be seen for a few seconds, before happily changing to nothing at all. So, it was my turn to invite Jana for a beer and we happily did so at the train station this time. Where we this time managed to catch the third train! A small miracle indeed!
