Today was a sampler of many things Hawaiian for us.

We started the day with Macadamia Nut pancakes on the Lanai overlooking the ocean.  We then went for a long walk on the coastal hiking trail, discovering a new wild beach on the way.  Following winter both Myra and I are not in the best shape but the hiking diving and snorkeling is shaping us up rapidly though not without some pain.

We relaxed and read for the rest of the morning and headed off to Kapalua beach for an afternoon snorkel and snooze.  Beautiful sunshine today!  We met up with more Honu (turtles) under the water and saw more wonderful coral and tropical fishes.

For the evening we went to the Feast at Lele, a Luau.  We were fortunate to have a table for two right in front of the stage.  We were served 5 courses inspired by the islands of Hawaii, New Zealand, Tahiti, and Samoa, and of course dessert.  There was entertainment with each course, hula, war dances, etc.  We were concerned about the Samoan fire dancer as we had been watching him practice before the Luau and he was quite clumsy, hurling his fire sticks into the dinner tables on occasion.  When the actual performance was on, he only dropped his fire once!

Another fantastic day in paradise!
