A long and very good day today. We had our final two dives this morning to gain our Advanced Open Water diving certification. The first dive was a deep dive to 85 feet to assess how well we function at depth and how nitrogen narcosis affects us. We had to do math problems underwater to prove our faculties. We both passed. The second dive was a navigation dive where we had to navigate a course using our compass underwater. Strangely Myra did better than me...she rarely can navigate on land but is good underwater...go figure. We are officially certified!

We had lunch at a great little place called star noodle and had the best Poke we had ever tried (raw Ahi tuna). We did a slow drive south to Wailia stopping at Ulua beach for a snorkel and snooze. At Wailia we did some shopping for clothes and jewelry before having a wonderful dinner at Tommy Bahamas. A long drive back home to pour a tired Myra into bed.

Much better weather here today, calm, sunny, mid 80's...much more like what we have experienced in the past in Maui!
