Eli and I took a daytrip via cab up through a couple Malaysian cities and to a beautiful waterfall swimming area turned resort at Kotu Tinggyi. I only saw Malays after crossing the border, even at the waterfall resort. A little shopping was done in sort-of lean to shops there, then in the nearby city of Kotu Tinggi and a quick stop in the border town of Johor Baru.

Malaysia is a very interesting mix of ethnic Malays, Indians, and Chinese, with Arabic, English, and Chinese seen on signs throughout the cities.
