Our camp director, Hylton, invited us to come with him and his girlfriend, Amanda, to her family's Cottage by the lake in Bobcaygeon. As soon as we got there and saw the 'cottage' I thought to myself this is huge! It was a 5 bedroom cottage with large living room, kitchen, and a conservertory.

At the back of the house were two boats, a power boat and a sail boat. But that was not the best thing about the house...Hylton led us in to the Garage...in this garage was the most amazing thing in the world...A four track Scalextric set (track cars). We all rushed to play it and soon we became very competitative between ourselves. We argued about what cars were allowed to play and which cars weren't allowed to play, how we should decide the races should be set, and about how we would deal with cars that come off the track.

We ended up having hours of fun with different types of races such as quick sprint races, longer lap races, endurance races, and race until you crash!

That evening we cooked out a bbq, made some burgers, some beers, and a bonfire. We spent that night chatting about camp and took some experimental pictures with long shutter speeds and a flashlight.

The next day we met Amanda's parents who then took us on their speed boat through the lake to a restaurant on the shore. It was a pretty laid back day. The boat ride was bumpy, which to be honest was pretty cool. From the journey there and back we saw alot of nice houses, houses that I could only dream about owning...who knows maybe one day!
That evening we sat down together along with Amanda's family and their friends and we had some quality steak and another bonfire to round off the evening.
