After landing at the shores of this paradise, I picked the recommended Asian Belgian Resort in Moalboal Cebu Philippines from the Lonely Planet guidebook as my home for a few days. What a brillant move. I had found the perfect rustic beach bungalows. And all the toys and home style ammeneties thrown in to help make a visit here so relaxing that you not only don't want to leave, you CAN'T leave!"
We felt we had "discovered" one of the best-kept secrets for travelers seeking something a little different when we chose to explore the island of Cebu for the first time in December 2008. Without a doubt the Asian Belgian Resort at white beach moalboal is number one on our Top Ten Favorite Places to Stay list. We suggest you put it on your list of Places to Visit."
We had checked the Blue Orchid resort that charges more than double what the nearby Asian-Belgian resort charges for what is basically the same room with the same reef ...

Two of the main attraction of the island is its crystal-clear waters and it's long stretch of powdery white sand. The stunning sunset will really spice those romantic walks on the beach. One of the reasons the island is famous is its peacefulness, the way a resort should be. Unsaturated beauty and a combination of sweet smiling natives made the island as it is now.
While the authenticity of the site leaves no doubt, nothing deviates from the most stringent international standards for comfort. Don't bother looking for a shortcoming from the resort in the comfort department.
