Dapitan City was the first place in Mindanao I have ever been to! Felt so much excitement! During this travel, I was being accompanied by my former office mates which also we have mission to accomplish. heheheheeh....... It is related to our job, and we also took the opportunities to travel, sight-seeings first before doing our mission. We sailed by ship and took us 10 hours of arriving in our destination. We did stop-over In Dumaguete City! waaaaaaaaaaaaaah..... can't believe that I will be back in this city. After an hour, the ship headed to Dapitan City. The travel time, was during at night. Good thing was, the sea was calm,  only that when the ship passed by through Siquijor sea. We arrived safe at Dapitan City by 7 am. I saw beautiful mountain ranges and I was so amazed! Truly the Mindanao is such a beautiful place to visit. A must visit!!!
We had a friend of ours, waited for us in the port and he has a service to drive for us and be our tour guide of course! We headed first to the Shrine of Rizal! I was so happy then, because I remembered my college professor who taught us the subject about the life of our national hero Dr. Jose Rizal, told us that someday we should be able to visit Dapitan City to realize and understand his heroic life. And yes I did it, when we got inside the place, it felt like I was in the Spanish era. old houses of Rizal, old trees that he planted, everything about Rizal can be seen at the shrine. There was even a museum just for him only. Displaying his great arts, paintings, pictures, and others. We took the chance as usual to take pictures in every corner. I am just so proud of being a Filipino! We toured around the shrine. There were many people going in there. busy taking pictures.
After minutes of touring around the shrine. We decided to travel to Dipolog City, our main destination where we will be staying and doing some paper works there. Busy mode for us!
 I LOVE DAPITAN CITY!!!!
