Back in Bangkok, we took a thai cooking class where we shopped for our ingredients in a local market and learned to make green curry from scratch in addition to a cracking Pad Thai among many others dishes.

We really enjoyed the energy and entertainment of a Thai Kickboxing match in Lumphini Stadium; whizzed around on the futuristic BTS Skytrain to all the best shopping districts; did some sightseeing when we included a trip to the house of ex-cia secret agent Jim Thompson, took a final spin on the local river ferries (and missed our stop!) and risked another early morning life and death tuk tuk ride through the streets of old Bangkok.

We had a few nights out when we met up with Peter Yau in Sukumvit (Downtown area) as well as the market in Patpong ,a pool challenge in Gullivers of Khao San Road and of course a bit of cool dancing to finish off the night!

Initially it was difficult to get used to the monsoon season and we got drowned a couple of times before learning that you need an unbrella the size of a small parachute to keep you dry!!

We had one of the best meals of our trip so far in Chinatown where we ate with the locals on the street as they brought plate after plate of delicious seafood including sea-snails for Salud!

Bangkok is a wonderful modern city packed to the brim with sights, sounds, tastes and activities and we didn't want to leave.
