Both aware we were due a good day, we made less ambitious plans, they didn't quite work out, but we enjoyed a slow day.

We decided to amble aroud Tsukiji fish market. We woke, left the house and walked to the subway station. The journey to Tsukiji took us longer than expected. We stayed on the train for too long and had to head back. My fault, for Tsukiji fish market, you dont go to Tsukiji station, but Tsukijishijo.

By the time we got there, the fish market was closing, most of the fish sold and everyone was packing up. A shame, we knew it would be the case though and wanted to see where it was anyway. I'll definitely come back as this is one of Tokyo's main attractions and is supposed to be a real spectacle when in full flow.

We decided to head towards home, but get off at Naka Meguro and then Jiyugaoka for a wander around. Naka Meguro, an up and coming area in Tokyo, seemed fairly quiet, so we moved on.

We found a bizarre part of Jiyugaoka called Little Venice, which was a real surprise and quite out of place. We enjoyed a coffee in the sun though. Possibly the first time I haven't felt cold in a fortnight.

It was a pretty chilled out day after that really.

Tomorrow is the first day of a fifteen day sumo wrestling tournament and Hannah has managed to get tickets. I'm incredibly excited about it and I know it going to be a brilliant day already.
