A free day but pouring rain. We drove the single tracks and small lanes very slowly to Stow through Guiting Power, Temple Guiting etc..
Did some shopping in the flea markets in the old churches. Bought some Enid Blyton books for Anna that I had read as a kid.  Got to see the inside of the church in the center of Stow this way.  It was a nice experience.  We could only park for 2 hours.  No sheepy stores.
So we left and drove through Blockley and Broad Campden to Chipping Campden so that Kelly and I could remenisce about our walk through there many years ago. Just before my dad died we walked from Moreton to Broadway and back on successive days.  My boots and the wonderful time seered it forever into my memory.
In Chipping Campden we conversed with some nice fellows in the Lygon Arms and had lunch at the 8 bells. They answered some questions about beer.
The beer in England (not the lager) has a very creamy taste too it I really like.  I think to tast this way i has to be very fresh (Beer in LHR tasted stale on my then more experienced pallet).
After that we went on a very challenging walk around Snowshill (especially w/o wellies) It was supposed to be a short walk and I had to poop really bad so we just went charging down the sheep hill past the manor.  Ran into a lot of trouble in the mud going back the other side. All in all it was another enjoyable walk.
Mom was a real trooper.  Kept going and going no matter what the circumstance.  She made me look like a capable guide even though I kept getting her into fix after fix.
