Beautiful Sunny Day!
We went to Deerhurst near the severn. Took a southern walk along the Severn that Mom thought was a bit boring.

Walked up the road into Apperley.  Sort of suburban but with some nice homes.  Wakefield Manor was pretty neat and it had a moat.

We had a nice walk back into Deerhurst as the land was very open and we could see for miles.
Back in Deerhurs, across from the Chapel is the Priory.  Inside we saw a brass rubbing Mom had done 40 years ago!
We were able to continue our walk north through the back of the churchyard to Tewkesbury Abbey

Saw Odda's chapel also and had a nice walk down to Apperley (Wakefield Manor and it's moat were memorable) and back up to Tewkesbury Abbey and back through the Country Club to Deer Hurst. Challenging navigating. Many bulls.  Had a quick pint at the Bell across from the Abbey. Took a quick peek but much too large...
Went with Christine for tea at the Savoy hotel where the fam had stayed for a week in 1973 before we went back to USA.  Tea was nice in the sun room.  Much had changed on the inside.
Where I had watch Tom Watson and Johnny Miller in the US Open every day and had lovely roast beef sandwiches on buttered bread is now a bar lounge.
Very modern inside with a bunch of children in charge.  I am getting old.
