Went to Coventry to visit Hazel and Rex. They were charming. Took us to a pub/modern...not sure...good food - bad beer.
Rex has an in tune piano with reams of popular music from the 20's - 50s. Rex answered lots of questions. Very bright fellow. They are both still a delight to be with.
Unfortunately their son, a wonderful man, David Dyer, is slaving away in Singapore and his wife Debbie was at work.
Their home inside is quite a wonder with beautiful detail in doors and such.
On the way we bought wellies for Mom and 2 walking poles. She tried them out in the evening around Winchcombe and they seemed to do the trick.
Took some videos that evening around Winchcombe as a way to be with Kelly.
