Not much to say about Chau Doc. Its used as a door into Cambodia. From here you get on a boat to go up the Mekong to Phom Penh.
Getting to Chau Doc is another story. We found 2 swiss guys looking to go so we all got a taxi to share and take us to Chau Doc. We got about half way only to find the bridge had broken. I mean broke in half into the water. So we organized some motos to take upthe rest of the way. The best 60 km drive ever. The only way to see the countryside. Absolutely butt numbing and amazing.
We stayed one night and caught the boat to Phnom Penh the next morning.
