After a rocky ride on the boat to the 'Big Island' we spent the morning with friends in Melbourne before heading West to Naracoorte in the South East of South Australia, surrounded by the Coonawarra Wine Region. Sadly, not a winery was visited ! After two wonderful nights with our friends Darren and Louise (sleeping indoors), we hit the City of Adelaide and spent our first night in the Caravan at Marion Caravan Park.   We had a lovely dinner with the Attwoods before being awaken to the sounds of truck air brakes, which was then dround out by birds chirping along with ducks quacking right under our bed the next morning.
We then ventured out to McLaren Valley for a lovely afternoon sharing a wine or two with friends who recently moved from Launceston.  After a lovely meal with them we walked to our caravan which was parked on the street for a quiet night amongst the vines (we felt like Gypsy's)
From there we moved onto our new home in Salisbury Heights in the North of Adelaide for the next 7 days. We were very fortunate to park our Caravan on a relatives property and we made ourselves quite comfortable.
During our busy schedule we spent a number of quality eveings and days with the family....many a silly photos taken and posted on facebook thanks to others!
We also had the opportunity to enjoy the hospitality and company of many of our good friends for which we really valued.
Olivers hightlights were seeing Adelaide Crows beat Melbourne at AAMI stadium and seeing Toy Story 3 at the movies with his Cousins, Auntie and Nana.
Today we headed North via the beautiful Clare Valley and yet again not a winery was visited as we shared a sandwich in the park with the kids.... ah how times have changed!
Tonight we arrived in Hawker in the Flinders Ranges where we plan to spend the next two days.  The kids immediately ran to the playground as we were setting up our Caravan,  the kids coped really well with a long 5 hour drive in the car.... let see how they take the long walks tommorrow????????
So far we have encountered and experienced the following:
Lost 20lt Deisel when boarding the boat.... most went on Ian's pants
1 lost phone
Faulty Awning, taken back and now replaced
Hit 2 sign post with Caravan while reversing.....no damage done to our van!
Flooded cupboard after giving kids a 4inch bath in shower
1 Broken curtain rail
Reversing camera not working on Car
Not one channel received for TV reception
Toilet leeks into shower when moving......nice mess to clean up
Several wrong turns!
and still one happy family!!!!!
