The next morning we left Zion, and drove out to Bryce Canyon National Park, still in Utah. Bryce isn't technically a canyon, it's a valley, but the name's stuck. So we rolled up, got in our hiking gear, and set off to hike through the 'canyon'. It was bloody hot again. 100f I think. But Bryce was amazing.

We started off high up, and had a great view over the canyon, with it's weird spires as far as the eye can see, all coloured the strange orange colour that you see so much in Utah. Then we walked down to the bottom, and went right past the spires, going through some cool little archways too. It was a really cool hike, but soooo hot! We eventually climbed up some switchbacks and got up high again, and then we were done.  I absolutely loved Bryce, I though it was fantastic. Such an awe-inspiring place.

We briefly cooled off after our hike, then made our way to Mystic Hot Springs for the evening. There we soothed our aches and pains in the hot pools, had a nice curry, and got some nice showers. I had spent all day trying to contact my parents to wish my Dad Happy Father's day, but when I finally got in touch he was asleep! Nevermind! Then it was our first night drive with the big group, and it was pretty damn cosy! Not much room to spare, but it was fine, and I actually got a pretty good night's sleep.
