We got breakfast from the local restaurant and headed back to the train station to catch our train.  While waiting we met an Israelii couple Irene and ?.  The train is called a toy train as it runs on a narrow gauge rail but the carriages are also small and the seats are designed for toy people as well.  The journey took about 5 hours with a couple of stops along the way.  Gavin took a video of a guy being sick out the window (nothing like treasured holiday memories!)  Shimla is another hill station, we have just got to get away from the heat.

When we got to Shimla we were trying to sort out a taxi when an Australian couple approached us to share a taxi with them.  The taxi tried to go up one hill but with all 6 people and all our backpacks it wasn't happening.  So we rolled back down the hill and went the round about way.  Shimla is very hilly.  The taxi dropped us off at the foot of a hill where we took 2 lifts and then had to walk the rest of the way.  The 1st hotel the tout showed us was horrible (it stank) so we left the bags and the boys and went further up the hill to another hotel which was much better so we booked into there.
