G'day all,
Well we are at the end of the east coast tour here in sunny Montreal, we arrived early afternoon after a 4hr drive from Quebec. Montreal is famous for its 2 billion dollar Olympic staidum yes 2 billion and the romveable roof was not completed till 11 yrs after the games and was only used twice as it was a complete failure, but donlt get me wrong it is a beutiful structure and is an imposing structure on the montreal sky line when viewed from Mont royal mountain, we had lunch in Montreal and then went for a drive around seeing the old and new buildings that is making Montreal the east coast,s most important business centre, we drove up to the top of Mont Royal mountain and had a panoramac view of the city. Later we went for a boat cruise on the St Lawrence river having a look at the worlds fair site and other views of the river.

We then headed back to the Hotel and prepared for the farewell dinner at a resturant in downtown Montreal , it was a lovely meal and afterwards we went walkabout and had a quick view of montreal at night. the next morning Nancy and i went for a bit of a walk about before flying out to calgary, and that my friends was a quick tour of montreal not much time unfortunately to see much but still another beautiful city we have seen on our trip.
Tomoorow we head to Calgary the Cowboy Capital of Canada.

Hugs all Stewart and Nancy

Eastern Canada and Calgary
Nice tour you had of the east! Don't forget to grab a burger at Peter's Drivein on 16th Ave in Calgary (it's a landmark). Cheers and see you this weekend in Vancouver!

Oui oui hahahahaha
Funny :) The dome looks magnificent eh but that cheese grater building .. ewwww. How ugly is that. I think the would-be Frenchies in Quebec beat the old Montrealians hands down on pretty buildings though :)

Are they called Montrealians? Monties? Alians? Monties will do ;)

Hugs to you both
