G'day all,
Wow what a trip this side has been there has been no autumn colours so to speak of but the scenery has been fantastic, the coach has heaps of leg room so you can stretch out, we are leaving Ottawa today and heading off to Quebec the french capital of the province,we arrived in time for dinner so straight to the hotel and dinner then next moring we had a local guide and she took us into to the walled city on a tour of the old city as well it was great. some of the sights were great and after lunch we went for a drive out to Saint Anns cathedrial wow is it big and whew the copper doors were heavy, the whole church was great. Then off to a waterfall and this one not as impressive as niagria but is actually 100mts higher the tour guide said that in spring the volume of water going over there some times can be heard on the outter suburbs of Quebec. Then back for dinner and hm well the consensious was not value for money 3 glasses of wine cost us 45 thats about 49 aussie dollars whew these east coast people know how to slug you for food and drink and on top of that it was a smogasboard and we served our selves had the set up of a $25 dollar meal but we were charged $76 for this mind you the view was great we were in a revolving restaurant, so we informed insight tours of our displeasure. but the tour around the city was great i went out and got some night shots, well tomorrow is another city we are off to Montreal the last city on this side of canada.

Hugs all Stewart and Nancy,

Hello all,
this is your stoked reporter trevor here, this is the second version of my report the idiot struck againI had written a lovely report and he forgot to save it and the time expired so hence i have to start again sheesh he is a numbskull.
Well this is a beautiful city and no wonder the world heritage people listed it, mind you the Quebecians think they should really be part of france but alas France does not want the province but they did give them some lovely useless bits of art work its hard to understand it one is a rubics cube type peice and then they also said "hey you have abeaut bridge there but nothing on the top so how about we send you some miniature eiffel towers and you can adorn them on the top and say the french gave them to you", well they were over the moon whoo see the french do love us, so they plonked them in some square that was not really viewable unless you knew it was there and the towers just looked like little spikey things you see on most bridges. We were told that the week before we arrived a group of school kids had done up the cubes as actual rubic cubes and they left the paper on for a week so damn missed my chance to change it.

Well in the afternoon the idiot (stewart) said we are off to see a famous church and it is reputed to have cured people of different afflicions of health. We arrived and i said to him are you going in and see if you can be cured of being called an idiot by nancy and he said yes it will be a beautiful church in side and you never know my feet might get fixed, well he was gone about thirty minutes and when he came out he was just a stupid as ever so obviously the good lord does not cure stupidity damn hey, we then set off to have a look at some olsd houses dating back to the 16th century and what they call bread ovens these were shared by the community and made bread during the colder months they looked like huge pizza ovens and also some root cellars this is where one family stored their root vegies like carrots parsnips etc and apparently they would keep fresh all winter better than a fridge these were built into the side of a hill and had earth roofs, so i went looking to see if any one had left their nuts behind but alas nope so will have to find my nuts else where.

we then went on the road and saw an awesome waterfall again we (dave the dragon, nessie the other dragon) and me were left to our own devices so i made a spa bath Dave created a pizza oven while nessie created a fish pond so we could have a relaxing meal while the idiot went in search of another photo, did i tell you he has shot that much he has already got over 15gig of photos and videos on this holiday, any way the three of us have a beaut spa and dave cooked some nice pizza and nessie brought some fresh salmon so i supplied the spa and away we went. The idiot came back and off wer went back to the hotel and when we got out we were all relaxed fed and ready for the night as tomorrow we are off to Montreal.
Hugs all Trevor

Awesome pics!!
Awesome pics matey ... what beautiful buildings they have. I think the Quebecians might be a tad odd .. they must be the ONLY people on this earth who want to be French!!

In fact ... for the French not to want them (and France wants to rule the whole world), there is very definitely something bloody odd about them ha ha.

Hmmm, listen don't be offended all ye olde Quebecians. It's a joke, you know? Even the French have jokes (strange humour though lol).

ANyway, where was I? Oh yes, Quebec. Beautiful pics Stew n Nancy and it sounds like you're having a great time :)

Me xxx
