G'day all,
sorry about the delay but internet access is not a big thing here in town and besides we have been having a ball in Wales, the scenery has been spectacular and so have the women oops um i mean the country side, We decided to bite the bullet and hire a car as this was a quicker way of getting around we based ourselves at the Purple hotel in Shrewsbury and got a really good deal 50 a night including a full breakfast not bad. To save heart ache and arguments we also bought a sat nav and wow is (Jane) great no more arguments with me or Nancy just Jane, and we also decided to avoid Motorways where possible so we can get to see the real countryside.

Due to some unusual roundabouts I went the wrong way a few times and poor Jane recalculated the route and as punishment she sent us down some lanes that you could reach out and touch the side of the bushes these were lanes that only Tractors and stupid Aussies went down we hoped we did not meet one as we were in a small car and they were in big tractors now I know how Fay Wray felt when she met Godzilla, We went up to the coast and found an awesome castle called Rhuddlan it was one of the first to be established in the fight to keep the welsh at bay, and was in pretty good nick, the following day we headed to the west coast and snowdonia wow what a change from the flat lands the coast was awesome and we followed the coastal road along it and all you could see were huge Caravan parks with established mobile homes or caravans in them we ended up in Harlech and went to the castle there, it was brilliant and this was the castle that the song Men of Harlech came from the next few days was spent in and around Shrewsbury it was awesome some of the little villages etc and the weather was good as well mind you according to the weather people this was the wettest and dullest summer on record but we did not mind it has been great,by the way if you drive here be aware of Audi drivers they are worse then Volvo drivers they park on yellow lines speed around the roads and just ignore all road rules, ok we are off to the Cotswold tomorrow so hopefully will get some internet use there if not the next time will be in London hugs all
Stewart and Nancy

Hello all this is your stoked roving reporter Trevor have i got news for you Gertrude (nessie) and i were looking for the welsh dragon whom we suspect is a distant cousin of Gertrudes so we set forth into Wales and I asked Stewart if we would meet Jona in Wales and he said no silly its not that sort of Wales, hey a squirrel can only ask hey, so off we went and had a look at this awesome castle it was huge and scary as well so we were looking here there for the Dragon when i told nessie to stop breathing so hot on my neck and she said it was not her and she thought it was me ha me breathing heavy I am stuffed so how can i breath,  so we looked around and we nearly did breath heavy as there was the dragon and wow was he red he introduced him self as David so i called him Dave and he said hey you are the only one that has called me that since old St George pretended to slay me. well we then said our good byes to the castle and said to Dave come and join us and we all set off again on the road to happiness the three of us having a sing along in stupid's bag. we visited another castle and it was huger than Dave's but he said his had more comfort zones so we allowed him that bit of show off manship. ok i heard Stewart saying we may be with out internet for a few days so till next time keep up the good work and keep smiling people as a smile is better then a frown it saves muscles
hugs Trevor hoo roo

Lolllll
Audi drivers hahahahaha. The Volvo brigade are the school run mums and old men who have 'arrived'. The Audi drivers, well they're German spies infiltrated into the UK to show other drivers just how their Vorsprung Dorch Tecnik performs :) And the English (silly buggers) fall for it ha ha.

You certainly did Wales and went to some very beautiful areas of that country. For me (English through and through), Wales is the most beautiful country in the UK ...

I'd like to say something about pity it's full of Welshies but that would be below the belt and I might get a herd of sheep baa-ing at my door in protest ;)

You should have taken a side trip to the Black Mountains, especially Pen-Y-Fan, you may have seen a few uniforms sweating their way up or down, its a favourite haunt of the British army

The weather can change in munites in wales, I have seen a day start sunny, then wind, rain, sleet, then snow, the day finished sunny, but still windy, but that is Wales

When I was there, I nearly walked off the mountain, from the car park, the rain was that bad

But I still go back every so often
