"Uno" and onwards to Cochin

We left later on to go to the train station to our next destination which was Cochin. We met a girl called Anu and her brother and we all played card games like solitaire, uno, connect 4 and she tried to teach me how to play chess. We eventually got off the train stepping into murky darkness and dad grazed his leg between the train and platform. Ouch and yuk!
We eventually got a taxi which took us to our new hotel called "The secret garden". When we walked in we spotted the beautifully lit swimming pool in a garden. We were shown to our room where there was a beautiful wooden bed within an alcove. The wall behind it was brightly painted with the god Krishna. This coloured the room beautifully, filling it with sapphire blues, fresh turquoise greens and sunshiney yellows.
It was late and we couldn't get food at the hotel so Dad went off on the back of a motorbike owned by the chef and brought back with him chicken and rice which we ate before going to bed.
