Where I stayed
Today we went to the secret beach.
It's a beach no one knows about but us (we think).
The beach has crimson sand that stuck to you and loads of swirly, shiny shells that glisten in the sun.
We also named some rocks that you see on the way to the beach (not just 1 but lots all put together like the ones you do rock climbing on).
One was called crystal rock and one was called crab rock and crystal rock had 100,000,000 crystals and crab rock had 100,000,000 crabs.
We also (on crab rock) found some big seats that were formed by the rocks.
Later on I did weaving with coconut leaves, you've just got to remember, over and under, onder and over and so on.
After it had just gotten dark there was a power cut just as we were leaving which was a real nuinsance as we couldn't see anything apart from the candles. We eventually, after a gorgeous , candle lit dinner, got to the taxi only to find that it had broken down! However we got a new one quite quickly and were off to the train station. We arrived at the station at which point I was tired, hungry and very thirsty. Once we got on the train and got our bags on, I was promptly asleep before being woken up at 3:00AM!!! By then I felt even more tired and grumpier than before. Scarlett on the other hand was as cheerful as ever!

The beach sounds wonderful - we have temperatures here below minus 10 so we envy you lots. I hope you are taking photos to show us on your return. Have you got a pic of the monkey? Tell your Dad that he was very wise to book your departure when he did as all the airports have been disrupted if not closed by the snow brrrrrrrr! Big kisses and hugs from us to you all. xxxxx
I got a chance to read all your entries today. It sound like a real adventure. I want to be there too except for the bumpy train and roches. You must have felt like celebrities when you visited the school. I really enjoyed reading all your posts. Keep it up
Dear Rosie and Scarlett,
It sounds like you are enjoying yourselves a lot and it sounds like a brilliant place that you went to. It must be lovely to be on your own little beach. Did you name it after yourselves?!! You should have done if you discovered it. Crab rock and Crystal rock sounding amazing. I would have also felt really grumpy being woken up at 3am. It has been very snowy and freezing here and we made a big snowman in the garden. Unfortunateley he is now melting and his eyes have fallen out!!! We now have a few days until xmas and Will isn't feeling very well with a high temperature.
Wishing you guys a happy xmas and a fab new year.
Izzy and willxxx
Great travel tales guys... glad that you're all having quite an adventure .. Uncle rob's hours and days spent slaving over a hot computer seem to have kept things running smoothly.. We've made it as far as one of your next ports of call at Sandy & Asa's in KL ... Asa managed to escape from Paris today so hopefully we will see him in the morning ... Jack has a new tooth .. The Australian tooth fairy gave him two Ozzie dollars for the old one. And uncle Willie seems to have spent half the national debt on two fantastic Ozzie soccer shirts for them both...we've just had a great few days on the beach at Langkawi and are looking forward to Christmas here in KL and hope you have a great christmas in Trivandram .. We'll raise a glass to your health and safe journey... Take care and happy Christmas and all the best for 2011

Wow - sounds like a fantastic adventure already Rosie! We've had lots of snow and ice here so reading about tropical beaches is really what the doctor ordered!
Tell your mum and dad we are toasting them with sherry and port as we write!

Lovely to read about your amazing journey so far, it sounds fantastic. Kitty & Hari send you lots of love and are fascinated to hear what you have been up to. It was lovely to speak to Uncle Robbie today, Happy Christmas guys, looking forward to hearing more, love you all xxxx
Happy New Year Rosie! Wow! An undiscovered beach discovered by the unstoppable Christian-Cox explorers! I am very impressed. It is wonderful to hear you describe your adventures so beautifully - a rock encrusted with 100,000,000 crystals (could that be more than the number of stars in the sky?) and crimson sand. I do hope that you and your family are all well and that you had a fantastic Christmas. I will be sharing your blog with your friends in Dragonflies and greatly wait with anticipation and excitement to hear of the next installment to your adventure. Lots of love to all. Mrs F. :) XX
