A bloody comet coming our way!!

I guess you've all read in the news about the comet that is currently orbiting around the earth. Thankfully it's not heading directly at us and if you got chance to see it you will know it was pretty spectacular sight to see.

It is following the sun so as the sun is setting it comes into view just above the horizon as it starts to get dark. The first night we went to see it was at Scarborough beach but it was a bit cloudy. We did get some great sunset pics of some surfers though which I will put on here. So the next night we took the train down to Freemantle and walked to the end where the lighthouse is and it was spectacular. We got talking to this couple and there were a few others who were just milling around but left before the best bit. As it gets darker it glows more obviously and it seemed to have this huge glowing tail behind it like an arch, which was thin at one end then expanded as it trailed into the night sky.

We tried in vain to get some pics but it is almost impossible with our little camera. There are a couple, which I will put on that if you look really closely at in the middle of the pic you can make out a red splodge which is the comet. Or a couple where just as the sun is setting you can make out a white dot in the sky! A lady who was there (sorry forgotten your name already!!) who said she will email us a couple of her pics as she had a much better camera so when I get them I will put them on.

Also.......

Life is still great, Ben is settling into his new job and the sponsorship should be sorted in about 8-10 weeks so I can get back to work too.
 To be continued. . . . .
